We Want a Functional Government
It’s been 250 years. Time for an update.
You don’t need us to tell you something’s broken.
You’ve seen it. Congress that can’t pass a budget. Agencies that can’t keep up. Problems that everyone agrees are problems—that never get solved.
You’ve probably had that conversation. The one where someone says “this is ridiculous” and everyone agrees. And then... nothing. Because what can you do?
Here’s what you can do.
The Symbol
That spinning icon? It’s a government building stuck loading. Buffering. Waiting for an update that never comes.
Sound familiar?
Add it to your profile. Post it. Share it.
When someone asks what it means, tell them:
“It means I want a functional government. It’s been 250 years since we designed this system. Time for an update.”
That’s it. That’s the whole thing.
Why This Matters
One person saying “this should work better” is easy to ignore.
A million people? Ten million? That becomes impossible to ignore.
We’re not asking you to join a party. We’re not asking you to fight anyone. We’re not even asking you to read a bunch of essays (though we’ve got those if you want them).
We’re asking you to plant a flag. To say, out loud, in public: I want a functional government.
Not a government that agrees with me on everything. Just one that works.
This Isn’t Left or Right
This isn’t about who’s in office. It’s about a system designed in 1789 being asked to handle 2025 problems.
Progressives are frustrated. Conservatives are frustrated. Moderates are frustrated. Everyone knows something’s wrong.
The question is whether we keep fighting each other, or start asking why the system keeps producing outcomes nobody wants.
What Happens Next?
We don’t know yet. That’s the honest answer.
But we know this: nothing changes until enough people say it should.
So we’re starting there. Building a signal. Gathering people who are done with outrage and ready for something different.
Add the symbol. Share the message. That’s how it begins.

But reading isn’t required. Participation is simple:
We want a functional government. Pass it on.
