This work is so timely. As people get more and more frustrated and the affordability crisis hits hard, they look for faster and simpler solutions. I recently was watching an episode of a very thoughtful YouTube series that investigates controversial and messy topics and then provides nuanced information. The content is great. I was dismayed to see the comments on an episode about El Salvador that weren't just sympathetic to the dictator, but also the methods that he used (e.g. jailing 2% of the population using kangaroo court-style mass trials).

We've seen an uptick in desperate acts recently, including assassinations. It's time to make a meaningful difference.

Thank you, Jason!

Thanks Samuel! That YouTube channel sounds like type of information we need these days. As I wrote in the Unavoidable Need For Nuance (https://statecraftblueprint.org/p/the-unavoidable-need-for-nuance) most issues are simultaneously complicated and complex, but everything in our system, e.g. government, politics, and media, punishes nuanced information.

And thank you for taking the time to comment. I certainly hope this work will pave the way to a robust and resilient democracy.
